Text Messaging Program
EMS offers a text messaging program to its customers for SMS-based billing notifications, appointment reminders, dispatch notifications, and job completion surveys.

Eastern Mechanical Services, Inc. will be collecting opt-ins verbally from their customers. The customers will be able to opt in to receive messages either in person at their physical location, or over a phone call if the customer calls. When a customer is registered for the first time, they are asked to provide their phone number, and staff is trained to ask if the customer would like to opt in to SMS-based billing notifications, appointment reminders, dispatch notifications, and job completion surveys. They will be verbally informed that ‘Message and data rates may apply’, ‘Message frequency may vary’, and they can ‘text HELP for support or more information and STOP to unsubscribe, at any time and no further messages will be sent.’ They will also be informed that their information will not be shared with third parties.

• Message frequency: varies with your service activity.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan.
• Opting out: reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, call (203) 792-7668, or email info@emsinc.us.
• Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy: your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.

EMS may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
